About the English translation of W. Pauli's essay 'Der Einfluss archetypischer Vorstellungen auf die Bildung Naturwissenschaftlicher Theorien bei Kepler' and its publication with C. G. Jung's essay on Synchronicity.

De Broglie's letter starts with an historical survey of the development of his idea of the pilotwave. After 1927 under the influence of Bohr's and Heisenberg's arguments, he joined their non-deterministic view. Now, after Bohm's work and and Vigier's comments on it, he returns to his former idea of a determinisitic interpretation of the wave function $\psi$.

Tonnelat and George ask Pauli on behalf of a committee for a contribution to a volume in honour of De Broglie's 60th birthday in 1952.
