Pauli refers to the ideas of G D Wassermann on "mental patterns", which are similar to Jung's archetypes. He believes in a wider significance of the concept of archetype which may help undestanding ESP and its connection with evolution. He asks a specific question regarding ESP experiments.

Pauli doubts some of Källén's formulae for the Lee model. He writes about calculations of convergence of integrals and about the proof for the consistency of Peierl's method.

Pauli writes of his reading of the paper by Lee published in: Physical review, 95, and his correspondence about it with Källén. As appendix he includes a quotation from Max Abraham on a doctoral student.

Pauli acknowledges Lüders' comments on his Bohrfestschrift article. He writes of his study of Lee's paper (in: Phys. Rev. : 95 (1954), pp.1329) and of some improvements he could make on it.

Pauli talks about his final views on the formulation avoiding infinities. He is against the tendency of Källén to use cut-off methods. He has a suggestion for a joint publication "on the mathematical structure of Lee's example in renormalizable field theory". He writes a synopsis of the suggested paper.

Pauli replies to Schafroth's letter of the 9th December 1954. He makes some "pedagogical" advice about contacts with colleagues. He makes critical comments on Schafroth's paper on "supra-conductivity of a charged ideal Bose-gas". He talks about a physical error in this paper.He agrees with Schafroth that the Bose-gas should be given more attention.
