Pauli thanks de Broglie's for his contribution to the issue of the "Dialectica" dedicated to the problems of complementarity and he makes some comments on it.

Unfinished and undated draft of Pauli's letter sent the 13-7-1953 in which Pauli thanks de Broglie for sending him his paper "La physique quantique restera-t-elle indéterministe ?" and makes some critical comments on it.

Pauli would welcome a new assistant. He makes some remarks on breit, Bloch and his physics.

Pauli refers briefly in this postcard to a paper written by Fock (in: Z. Phys. : 57 (1929),pp.261), to the "Fernparallelismus" of Einstein in which he does not believe, to a relation made by Fürth connecting radii and masses of electron and proton with c and h.

Pauli congratulates Einstein on his 70th birthday. He remembers gratefully Einstein's address in Princeton 1945 after Pauli received the Nobel Prize. He also writes of his forthcoming contribution to the Einstein volume in the Living Philosophers".

Pauli thanks Elsasser for his book "The Physical Foundation of Biology" and he discusses a few of its topics.

Pauli sends a quotation from P Bergmann's book on relativity, concerning gravitational waves. He writes on the roots of mathematics in the Unconscious, with special reference to the Pythagoreans.

Pauli makes a commentary on, and an addition to, Fierz's lecture in the psychological club. He writes on: 1) Alchemy versus Platonism, God as root of both good and evil 2) the mystical element in Plotinus 3) the concept of "privation" in ancient philosophy of nature. Matter as the manifestation of evil

Pauli writes on physics and psyche, on a conversation with Jung on Albertus Magnus and Regiomontanus and the latter's interest in magic. He explains Jung's reaction to the fact that Cicero translated "atom" by "individuum".

Pauli describes a dream which he had shortly after his return from the USA.
