              Letter from Jordan to Pauli
              Letter-1800 · Item · 1954/05/16
Part of Archives of Wolfgang Pauli

Jordan replies to a letter by Pauli. He discusses the problem of probability of mutations and of the statistical independence of successive mutations and the necessity for distinguishing between micro- and macro-evolution. He agrees with Pauli that nothing can be said at present about the time scale of evolutionary processes.

              Letter from Pauli to Bohr
              Letter-0122 · Item · 1926/02/26
Part of Archives of Wolfgang Pauli

Pauli makes some objections to Thomas' derivation of the missing factor in magnetic interaction of the spinning electron. He is opposed to its publication.

              Letter from Pauli to Bohr
              Letter-0124 · Item · 1926/03/05
Part of Archives of Wolfgang Pauli

Pauli describes the theoretical tasks if the spinning electron is correct. He criticizes Thomas' relativistic derivation, published in: Nature : 117 (1926), 514.

              Letter from Pauli to Bohr
              Letter-0173 · Item · 1927/10/17
Part of Archives of Wolfgang Pauli

Pauli talks about Bohr's paper on the statistical interpretation of quantum results which has its origin in the decision between observed object and measuring instrument. Critical remarks are made on the paper, but Pauli is still very positive about Bohr's conception, especially his view that the stationary states are as real as the particles themselves.

              Letter from Pauli to Kronig
              Letter-0089 · Item · 1925/05/21
Part of Archives of Wolfgang Pauli

Pauli writes about intercombination lines, and perturbations between singulet and triplet lines in Hg. He speaks about the formulas for the relative intensities of multipletlines and the problem of resonance radiation.
