Pauli talks about the excited state of a V-particle. The renormalization procedure seems artificial after the discovery that there exists more than one eigenvalue W$_{o}.

Pauli writes about further thoughts on biological questions. He writes about a book by Rensch on evolution, which has impressed him very much. He writes about psycho-physics parallelism, and about a book by Soal and Bateman on modern experiments in telepathy.

Pauli has some more considerations about the Lee model. He talks about some mathematical developments and their possible use for more complex systems with renormalization mathematics, especially quantum electrodynamics.

Pauli sends a manuscript of his article for the Bohrfestschrift to Lüders. He asks if some equations related to the interaction of charged bosons with protons and neutron spinors can be found already in earlier literature. He talks about commutability and anticommutability of independent fields with half-integer spin.

Pauli agrees with Källén about the correctness of the mathematics of the Lee-model. He writes on a question where to publish the paper. He agrees with Källén that Heisenberg's idea about the derivation of the electromagnetic field from spinor-fields must be wrong. He hopes that an improved renormalization mathematics might lead to a sort of eigenvalue-problem for the fine-structure constant.

Pauli replies to Fierz's letter of the 15th December 1954, in particular about the "ghosts" (negative probabilities) in quantum electrodynamics and about the shortcomings of renormalization physics.
