              Letter from Pauli to Bohr
              Letter-0889 · Unidad documental simple · 1947/05/29
Parte de Archives of Wolfgang Pauli

Pauli talks about the edition of the Einstein volume. He is glad about Bohr's positive attitude as regards the issue of "Dialectica" on complementary. He also writes on entropy and observation.

Parte de Archives of Wolfgang Pauli

About a special issue of the journal 'Dialectica' dealing with the concept of complementarity. W. Pauli requests a contribution from N. Bohr.

              Letter from Pauli to Caldirola
              Letter-0917 · Unidad documental simple · 1947/11/22
Parte de Archives of Wolfgang Pauli

Pauli does not accept Caldirola's suggestion to connect experiments of Lattes, Occhialin and Powell with equations developped by Corben and Schwinger and gives two reasons for it.

              Letter from Pauli to Casimir
              Letter-0924 · Unidad documental simple · 1947/12/29
Parte de Archives of Wolfgang Pauli

Pauli agrees with Casimir that quantum electrodynamics have entered a new phase and refers to the recently discovered fact that the magnetic moment of an electron at rest is somewhat larger than Bohr's magneton.

              Letter from Pauli to Fierz
              Letter-0929 · Unidad documental simple · 1948/01/07
Parte de Archives of Wolfgang Pauli

Pauli refers to some points for a future discussion with Fierz: 1) on the problem of divergencies in quantum electrodynamics 2) on the relation between concepts and sense perception. He also writes on the laws of nature as physical manifestation of archetypes and he refers to Kepler and his polemic with Fludd.

              Letter from Pauli to Jordan
              Letter-0942 · Unidad documental simple · 1948/03/23
Parte de Archives of Wolfgang Pauli

Pauli asks Jordan to send his cosmological works to Prof. Lichnerowicz at Strasbourg. He writes about Jung's interest in parapsychology. He has a negative opinion about a book by an American psychologist, E White, on the "Unobstructed Universe".

              Letter from Einstein to Pauli
              Letter-0943 · Unidad documental simple · 1948/04/01
Parte de Archives of Wolfgang Pauli

Einstein sends his contribution on the subject of complementarity for the periodical Dialectica. Einstein writes about the new progress he made in the extension of the gravitation equation. Alas he was not yet able to obtain a strong and free of any singularities field equation for interesting physical cases. Einstein looks forward to seeing Pauli and his wife in an expected visit. He ends his letter on some remarks on American politics.

Parte de Archives of Wolfgang Pauli

Pauli sends Fierz some critical remarks on an article written by Schrödinger who is not ready to accept the epistemological consequences of quantum mechanics. He also comments on Fierz's statement by an "arbitrary decision of the observer".

Parte de Archives of Wolfgang Pauli

Einstein discusses the difference between his and Pauli's view on the significance of the psi-function. If this function does not supply a complete description of the state of a single system, one must look for such a complete description to which the real laws of nature must be related.
