This letter contains the continuation of a former letter of the same day (elsassers_0090). Pauli adds some remarks on entropy and information.

Pauli thanks Elsasser for his book "The Physical Foundation of Biology" and he discusses a few of its topics.

Pauli criticizes Eliezer's computations. He notes some problems of interpretation. He says that he is sending a copy of this letter to Dirac.

Pauli gives some second thoughts on a discussion, which took place the day before, between Einstein and Pauli on tensors possessing certain symmetry properties.

Pauli thanks Einstein for the proofs of his paper (written by Einstein with Ehrenfest) concerning the elementary processes in which several quanta are simultaneously absorbed or emitted. Pauli shows that there exists an analogue for such processes in classical theory.

Pauli thanks Einstein for the proofs of his paper on "Fernparallellismus". Pauli remarks that from the viewpoint of quantum theory nothing can be said in favour of this new concept. He further criticizes the derivation of Einstein's field equations and their results which have lost contact with physical reality. He is ready to bet that in a year Einstein will drop the whole "Fernparallelismus".

Pauli thanks Einstein for the proofs of the paper he has written with Mayer and he expreses the greatest doubts as to the physical valididity of its basic idea, to describe two particles with different masses by a wave-function in an ordinary space-time continuum.

Pauli asks Einstein to help F Kottler who, as a jew, had to leave Austria and is looking for a job abroad. He also makes some remarks on Einstein's paper on a closed five-dimensional continuum. He also hopes that Bargmann will be of some help to Einstein.
