The time has come for Pauli to go to India. He thinks that he could get leave from Zürich and should be in India from November 1952 until the end of February 1953. He asks if that suits Bhabha. He says theoretical physics is not making much progress. Källén is working on the question to look behind the veil of Dyson's power series. Pauli gives his opinion on Bhabha's presentation in Zürich about meson and proton dispersion. He also reports about his correspondence with Heisenberg on the same subject.

Pauli has been in Princeton since the 24th February and he is making some inquiries on Bhabha's plans. He says that in Princeton the meson theory with particles in 1/2 speed is in vogue. He heard some contradictory news on Bohr.

Pauli hopes to be able to read Bhabha's cascade theory in Proceedings from the Indian Academy. He expresses his agreement with some of Bhabha's statement, but disagrees with his criticism of Christy and Kusaka. He makes general remarks on the relation between Bhabha's classical theory of 1941 and the Pauli and Dancoff theory. He has read with a great interest Dirac's new work (Proc. Roy. Soc. March 1942). He speaks about the two letters he has exchanged with him.

Errors in a work of Wilson, on which Chakrabarty's research is founded invalidate Chakrabarty's conclusions. Pauli has returned to work at Princeton from his summer estate and asks Bhabha to write to him often as he is becoming isolated.
