Letter-0670 · Pièce · 1943/03/16
Fait partie de Archives of Wolfgang Pauli

It has been a long time since Pauli received a letter from Bhabha and he repeats the contents of his last letter. He reports on various works of Jauch (calculation of proton and neutron's magnetic moments) and of Pauli himself (on field quantizing after Dirac's new method and on his new theory on strong interconnection).

Pauli comments on calculations made by Jauch. He writes of a letter from Bhabha (Bangalore) about the spin of the mesons. He comments on rumours about Heisenberg's idea of a fundamental length. Pauli is sceptical because he sees no connection with the atomicity of the electric charge.

Letter from Pauli to Hulthén
Letter-0683 · Pièce · 1943/10/18
Fait partie de Archives of Wolfgang Pauli

Pauli discusses Schwinger's modification, published in: Physical review: (1942), 61, 387, of the Rosenfeld-Moller meson exchange theory. He obtains equations for deuteron ground state and discusses the attempts to solve them, with applications to scattering and work in

Letter from Eliezer to Pauli
Letter-0686 · Pièce · 1943/12/24
Fait partie de Archives of Wolfgang Pauli

Eliezer replies to Pauli's letter of the 10th October 1943. He gives some calculations on the problem of the motion of an electron in a photon field.

Letter from Lopes to Pauli
Letter-0695 · Pièce · 1944/07/17
Fait partie de Archives of Wolfgang Pauli

Lopes writes about the interaction energy of two heavy particles in the pseudoscalar meson theory, with reference to calculations by Kemmer.

Letter from Jauch to Pauli
Letter-0700 · Pièce · 1944/08/26
Fait partie de Archives of Wolfgang Pauli

Jauch is concerned with Pauli's remark that the integral operator of Lopes is not Hermitian. Jauch gives the correct development.
